FIN 2017-1 FAQ Available


The Insurance Compact is happy to announce that a new resource tool is available for Insurance Compact filers. After the release of FIN 2017-1 – Process for Revisions to Forms and Supporting Documentation in Compact Filings on March 9th, the Insurance Compact Office held several webinars over the course of April to provide greater detail on the application of the FIN to filing submissions. During and after these webinars, we received several questions. We have compiled these questions and their answers into a single document that will soon be published on the Insurance Compact website. Filers can find this FAQ document under the FIN 2017-1 on the Filing Information Notice page of the website. We strongly advise that all filers, after they have read FIN 2017-1, review the corresponding FAQ document to assist with answering any questions that may arise. The information in the FAQ presents information found in FIN 2017-1 in a different format.
