Reminder for Phase 7 of the Five-Year Review

On January 5th, the Insurance Compact Office issued notice of 5-Year Review for Uniform Standards that were originally effective between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.  This is the seventh phase of the 5 Year Review of the Insurance Compact’s Uniform Standards.

The Uniform Standards subject to this phase of the 5-Year Review are:

Written comments will be accepted until March 7th and should be sent to comments@insurancecompact.org .  As a reminder, the Product Standards Committee is requesting comments on the need for continuation, repeal or amendment of the Uniform Standards included in this notice. Comments in favor of repeal or amendment should describe how circumstances or underlying assumptions have changed since the last time the rule was adopted or amended.  Comments should not include any personally identifiable information or confidential business information that you do not want publicly disclosed.

We would encourage all interested parties to monitor the Docket for comments received regarding these Uniform Standards. More information pertaining to the process may be found on the Docket, and the adopted standards and uniform standard history can be found on the Record. If you have any questions regarding the five-year review process or the Insurance Compact, please contact the IIPRC office.
