Smooth Transition to 2014


Now that we are less than two weeks away from the end of the year, we wanted to remind you of the best way to ensure that you have a smooth transition in filings from 2013 to 2014.  The easiest way to do so is to make sure that your company is registered for 2014.

As noted in the Terms and Procedures for IIPRC Filing Fees, the Insurance Compact Annual Registration Fee is due at the start of the calendar year. All filers must register in order to utilize the Insurance Compact's one-stop filing platform.  More information regarding the required Annual Registration Fee for companies may be found on the Schedule of Fees located on the Insurance Company Resources page of the website. 

The step-by-step directions for the completion of the Annual Registration Fee submission through SERFF have been updated.  Company Users will now complete the “User Update Request Form” within SERFF after the Annual Registration Fee filing has been submitted.  Make sure that you check out the detailed step-by-step directions before you complete your submission.
