Insure U Rolls Out New Auto Insurance Tool

As more Americans steer away from the driver's seat and toward new products such as usage-based insurance (UBI), the NAIC is helping consumers rethink their auto insurance options. The second wave of our 2017 consumer outreach plan, Changing Lanes: Rethink Your Options, introduced Insure U’s new DriveCheck assessment. This brief quiz takes consumers through questions about their driving habits while providing information about UBI. At the end, users receive an assessment of the likelihood they will benefit from UBI.

Since its launch in June, the DriveCheck campaign has generated nearly 89 million impressions. In addition, NAIC President Ted Nickel was featured in an audio news release about the campagin distributed nationally. His audio release reached 7.25 million listeners and was shared across 150 affiliates.
